“Datum started with Jesse. Around construction from a young age, he spent years working across the trade and built a reputation for the quality and care he brought to every job. In 2019 he opened his own shop, and Datum Homes, a Calgary custom home builder, was born. Over the years, a pattern kept showing up. Once a home was finished and the keys changed hands, its care fell apart. Homeowners were left chasing trades, collecting quotes, and hoping whoever showed up actually knew what they were doing. The people who understood the home best disappeared at the very moment that knowledge mattered most. Datum Details, launched in the fall of 2025, exists to close that gap.
