We are not a plumbing company
Water & Heat is a directory. We do not carry tools, we cannot come to your house, and an email to us will not get your water turned off any faster.
If something is leaking or you have no heat, call one of the contractors who answer around the clock — every listing carries a phone number that rings the business directly, not us.

Everything goes to the same address. Putting one of these in the subject line gets it to the right place faster.
- Something on your listing is wrong
- Wrong phone number, wrong address, services you no longer offer, a business that has closed or changed hands. Tell us what is wrong and what it should say, and we will correct it.

There is no contact form on this page on purpose. A form on a site with no staffed switchboard mostly collects spam, and an email you sent from your own account is one you can prove you sent.
Corrections and removals
Businesses are listed here without being asked first, from public sources. That puts the obligation on us: if you are listed and something is wrong, we fix it, and if you would rather not be listed, we remove you. No conditions and no explanation required.
Ratings and review counts shown from Google are supplied by Google and reflect reviews left there, so we cannot change them — those belong to Google and have to be raised with them. Everything else on your listing is ours to correct.
Services, certifications, founding years and company history are read from each firm’s own website and are presented as that firm’s claims rather than our checks. If your site has changed, tell us and we will re-read it.
Who publishes this
Water & Heat is published by Kitamatrix, based in Calgary, Alberta. Kitamatrix also works with trades on being found online — search visibility, how a business appears in AI assistants, and answering the calls that come in while you are under a sink.
The directory earns its keep from customer enquiries passed to contractors who have asked to receive them. Sponsored listings are pinned to the top and labelled as such; nothing else about the order is for sale, and no business pays to be included or scored differently. More about how this works.
